One of the primary services we offer at Street Medics Austin is direct, on the ground first aid and medical support for your protest, demonstration, or other event.
When we are present at your event, you can expect: clear, professional communication, triaging patients as they present and coordinating with EMS and other professional emergency services as needed, flexibility to shift with your event (we understand you can’t predict everything!), a safety-first and politically neutral philosophy, guaranteeing we treat every patient on a needs basis, and not based on belief systems or which “side” they are on. When requesting us for your event and for the duration of your event, our big ask from you is that you clearly communicate with us about planned actions, movement, etc. This allows us to plan and adapt based on your needs and allows everyone to stay as safe as possible.
